JOB TITLE : DEMI CHEF DE RANG

DEPARTMENT : F&B - SERVICE

REPORTS TO : RESTAURANT MANAGER

OBJECTIVE

You will be part of a young & dynamic team in a very busy hotel & department. You will be reporting to the 1st rank waiters.

Assist in serving food and beverages: mise-en-place, serving and clearing both at breakfast, in the restaurant and in all meeting rooms.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Before service

  • Maintenance and cleaning of meeting room equipment and/or furniture

  • Assists with mise-en-place furniture and equipment: arranges tables and chairs, sets tables,....

  • Assists with mise-en-place service equipment

  • Assists with mise-en-place beverages

  • Helps set up the meeting rooms

    2. During service

  • Serves guests at the restaurant, bar and banquet level

  • Cleans up

  • Provides coffee breaks for the meetings and events

    3. After service

  • Ensuring that the restaurant, bar and all meeting rooms are ready for the next shift

  • Arranges and stores all equipment and ensures cleanliness at all levels

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • You already have (some) experience in the hospitality industry as a waiter

  • Minimum required language is English. Dutch or French is a plus

  • You have (some) knowledge of HACCP standards.

  • You have a neat appearance and are dynamic

  • You can serve customers in an appropriate way

  • You are stress resistant and autonomous

  • You are punctual and can work well in a team
